Our Renovation Process

We carefully remove all existing firebox materials down to the structural shell. We then rebuild with premium firebrick, using proper Rumford or modified Rumford geometry for optimal performance. The smoke chamber is parged smooth with high-temperature refractory cement, improving draft and reducing creosote buildup. A new damper ensures proper sealing when the fireplace isn't in use.
